the very first thing I would do any any build is to get it mechanically sound and running to the best of your ability, and get tires so you can drive it IMHO, lol. Thats what I'm doing now, trying to get it road worthy.

no because its is a running and driving truck, they had parked it for a month or so so they could get the axles in it but I kind of fixed that problem by buying the truck and bringing them new axles to install instead of the used ones they was gonna put in it. Kind of killing 2 birds with one stone, lol

I'm not dropping the tank and time soon. for what purpose? yes, it may have tons of rust but I'd rather pick up a new tank for $110 from O Reilly somewhere. For now I just hope if it does have dish that it doesn't make its way to the engine. I don't want to break any lines and then have to replace them too

Well I'm scared that I'll break lines this is my daily driver. I really don't want to drop the tank in risk of breaking lines.
I still have gas tank coat just haven't applied it yet

Ohh I was under the impression it wasn't running very well. If it's your DD, if it ain't broke don't fix it haha. If the tank is bad, it won't take long too clog up fuel pump and filter. We shall see

That we shall. Only thing so far u know is broke or isn't getting the right signal is the fuel gauge. Something to do with the resistance on the fuel pump?
