Fender swap

I want to switch my 88 pickup 4wd front fenders for the rounder 90's style to match my bed. Yes I searched for something like this. No I didnt find a specific post on this swap. Just wondering if anyone did this before I go out junkyard diving. If so, direct fit or mods required? I saw a 90 sumthin 4runner with good fenders at the local jy that I wanna snag.

84-88 fenders vs 89-95 are in fact different. The biggest issue being right by the windsheild

they are not even close .. door length is different , fender length is different ,Wheel opening is different , even hood hight is different , not to mention the obvious , marker lights wont fit and headlamp doors wont fit , even front hood shape is different
