I have a 1992 Toyota 4x4 with a 3.0 V6, I noticed my fan blade has some back and forth play in it but the clutch is tight. How is the blade attached to the clutch, is it possible the mounting bolts have just got loose or is it common for something to wear out like a bushing? I noticed it this morning and havnt had a chance to really look it over yet, I had to go to work.

 

4 studs out of the clutch and then the fan fits over the studs . 4 Nuts hold the blade on . check it
