Expansion Valve

Could anyone tell me where the expansion valve is located on a 95 V6 Runner?

It's in the evaporator assembly, inside the vehicle behind the glovebox. According to the manual you have to remove the entire evaporator to get to it.

Some of the 4Runners had the AC expansion valve covered by a TSB. You may want to check on that, if you have't already.
