Exhaust manifold removal/installation tips
#22
On the drive home the other day my check engine light comes on with code 71 - EGR. I know the valve is good and the vacuum hoses have been replaced. So it's either the modulator or the vacuum line routing right? I'm not sure if the vacuum lines for everything related to EGR are correct. Is there anybody who can provide a picture of their 3.0 that can confirm the proper routing? Any help is appreciated.

That flap also switches power to the fuel pump, to keep the pump running after you release the key from the start position. So if the intake pipe is off, the fuel pump won't run either.
