exhaust line nuts

im trying to remove the drivers side cylinder head on my 3.0 which involves pulling the exhaust manifold. and to do this i need to remove the three nuts holding the drivers side exhaust to the collector.

ive tried and there really is no good way to loosen them without stripping out the nuts

help?

Lube and a good 6point socket.

I would say soak it down with soem PB blaster (or something of the like) and let it soak for a day, maybe overnight adn try again

PB Blaster(or another penetrate equivalent).

Spray and let sit. Spray and let sit. Spray and let sit. Smack with hammer. Spray and let sit.

Yes, PB Blaster is your friend!

I used a couple of socket extensions and an impact wrench from below. Popped 'em right off!

Spray it and let it sit spray it and let it sit. Then I said forget this and just torched them off and spent the 3 dollars for the new studs. They never would have come off any other way.
