Exhaust flange hitting frame

Exhaust flange hitting frame
94 2wd 22re auto single cab.
Anyone have or had any issues with the exhaust flange hitting the frame during a stop or hard acceleration? And not all the time. Everything is stock now, but this motor had a different manifold (high performance) before I installed it. When I installed motor I removed the stock manifold from the trashed engine that came with truck and installed on to new one. So in short I've messed with the exhaust manifold from flange up. Now I'm trying to figure out where I went wrong. All hangers are in good working condition. Is there supposed to be a clamp on it? Thanks for the help guys.

The OP said the exhaust is currently in its stock form.
I have not had any problems with my exhaust manifold and my Truck is a 1987 22R Automatic Two Wheel Drive.
I will take a look at mine today and take a picture.

Is that the transmission cross-member right above the flange?
There should be plenty of space between the frame, transmission cross-member, and the catalytic converter flange.
Here is a picture of my 1987 22R Automatic, 2 Wheel Drive Truck. Your Truck is the next generation, but should be similar.
The pipe flange starts about 8.5 inches past the transmission cross-member.
