I have a 91 3.0 yota and my muffler is shot.(smashed and rusty) Last night I bought a 2.25 inch in and out magnaflow and a 2.25 to 2" flange adapter. I am thinking of taking the cat off, then cutting the flange that remaings on the truck, then welding the 2-2.25 flange on there then gettting a peice of 2.25 exhaust tubing and runnning it straight back to the muffler. Then just run a down pipe on the end of the muffler. Since the 02 is before the cat I dont think I will have a problem. What do you guys think?
