Error code 24 means?

What does this code mean I've read what it is but don't know what to do about it

My truck will run weird like it has to think at times when pressing gas.

How am I able to fix this issue?
Just did my valve gasket

It means you have a problem in the Intake Air Temp sensor circuit

It can be a short or open circuit in the wires. Meaning the wires in that circuit need to be checked.

The sensor has failed Test sensor Repair or replace as needed .

The ECM part that handles this circuit no longer works.

The year and engine can help to tell just where the parts are located.

The factory service manual is great for Diagnostics

You have the page of the manual that goes through all the possibilities. Wyoming9 just summarized them. I take it that you just don't understand what the manual is telling you to do. (It's never a matter of just getting one new part to put in, like some big LEGO set.)

There's no shame in getting help from someone who does this for a living. If reading the manual doesn't even tell you where to start, you should think about taking your truck to someone who can fix it.
