I think all engbldr's stuff is good quality and I have it all on my rebuilt 22re, you should be good with the engbldr kit, but you can get the doa kit if you want both timing guides steel, but some think its not needed!

Not many people around these parts have anything bad to say about engnbldr... He sells good stuff and stands behind it too.

Engnbldr.

Tod is fast and knows what he's doing, if you have any questions you can email his dad Ted (via the email on their web site)

I ordered a master engine kit Tuesday afternoon and it got to my house this morning (thursday) .. It shipped yesterday morning. Thats quick! =)

I'm sure engnbldr is a good guy/company. and I'm not trying to dis him. but
he sales ROCK products, Ive noticed that they are the cheapest parts "money wise" you can get. other sellers all over ebay talk trash about the quality of ROCK, anyone else notice this?

over the months I've been on Yotatech I've read 10's or maybe hundreds of people singing praise to Engnbldr for quality and customer service and not one thing positive for DOA... and maybe a few positive for LCE, but were critical of the price.

even if engnbldr's products were somehow sub-standard, I've yet to hear anyone complain about customer service and replacements.

I was told by a machine shop ROCK products are crap...well my engine runs

I'm using all rock products...if it doesn't last I'll know. I'm sure I'll be just fine

Ted is an awesome guy...great service. I rode my motorcycle to see him and we quickly exchanged parts. Definitely be getting service from me in the future

the point being that even if engnbldr uses these alleged product that others seem to think aren't worth it, he stands behind them and replaces them with little to no hassle.
try getting LCE or DOA to replace a cam because of 'abnormal wear'... and the head gasket and fasteners involved with it too.

all I'm saying is that, just because someone "stands behind" there product doesn't mean that its good.
