EngineRebuild

Pulled the motor on sunday and got a lil carried away and just started tearing the block down. i forgot to mark the flywheels position to the crank, is this going to come back to bite me in the ass? I also pulled the distributor and realized i probably should'nt have after i already did, gonna mess me up too? how should i go about the heads and cams, should i put cyclinder 1 at TDC then tear it all down??? this is my first engine pull and overhaul and i got way to carried away. ill post pics in a bit.

the flywheel shouldn't be too big of a deal. The distributor is no big deal. What engine is this?

I will post more pics, have my exhaust all off, valve covers, all brackets and accessories, and my timing cover off.

So i got my block down to nothing and the heads along with the block to the machine shop. The number 2 rod looked real dark and might have a bad bearing, but it wasnt loose at all on the crank. All the cyclinders look good, no major looking problems. Besides being extremely dirty, looks good, and should be back it hopefully late Febuary.
