Engine swap
My 3vze blew in my 89 pickup so I bought a cheap 3vze from a 93 4runner. Before I start rebuilding this motor, am I going to run into issues when I go to start it up? I have both wiring harnesses so I can use either one.

You may need to use a different computer for it. I think the pin outs are a little different from that year gap.
Or just use the sensors from your old motor and swap them over to the new one. then the old wiring harness will plug right up to it, and that saves you a few hours of work by not having to change out the harness and computer

Well that isn't as bad as I was thinking. Thanks!
