Only does it at idle so i don't hear it when under way. I took it for a long drive up in the hills yesterday and the noise was completely gone! Nice and quiet motor. I must have to really heat it up for the sound to go away so ill just leave it be. Things must be expanding to within their normal ranges.

Updated video. Valves adjusted several times even tighter with no help. Exhaust fixed also. Maybe my idle is just too low..Webber carb...

You know you got a big ol vacuum leak in your valve cover right?

That port at the front has a hose connected to the Carb base typically, unless you plugged it or something. You can get a cheap breather for it from any auto parts store. Tha may be part of your problem'o

It only connects to the air filter.

If I am missing a small chunk off the top of the guide it goes to the oil pan right? Are these hard to remove? I am wondering if I should pull the pan and check for old parts lol. Just thinking it might be hard to seal the pan again.

Don't wanna steal the thread but it's better then making a new one, my 3vze makes the exact same noise, I guessed it was my valves but is it also a common problem for the v6? It also seems to be a lot louder from the left side (looking from the front of the car)
