engine harness question

Con permiso, I'm giving this a curiosity bump.
I know that harnesses differ, but hoping there might be a tech online that has authoritative knowledge. A friend's '88 lost much of its harness to mice and replacing it would be easier/cheaper with a little info on later models. There are plenty of early '90s 4Runners with blown HGs floating around craigslist for parts.

I have been told that it will, but a few connectors were changed. I never checked into it, so a few connectors may actually be major issues. Toyota Heaven in Fort Worth had a few 4 runners your style over the summer. 817-461-6773 is the number. Not sure where you are, but I think they ship.
