Engine Conversions

I am looking to do a engine conversion in my 91 pickup with a v6 to a ford or chevy V8.
I was wondering if any one did one how did the make out?

Before you get too far into your idea, look into doing a 3.4 swap (V-6 from the Tacoma and 4Runner). It is a much simpler project, that gives you a good power boost, plus better fuel milage.

Do some searching, there is plenty of info about the 3.4 swap, and Chevy and Ford swaps, as well.
