I just bought a throttle body and I cant find where to hook up the throttle cable

 

What engine? What year?

Seems like I have seen another way besides the pictures below but should give you and idea of what you are missing. They are all quite similar.

Sometimes the cable goes to the back of the Plenum like in the picture below and then a rod runs up to the ball tab like you have to operate it.


Another way is the circular piece in the picture below is attached to the Throttle Body and the cable slides into the slot like in the picture below. Ball tab is just to the right of my thumb.

 

You need the rest of the linkage that is mounted on the Intake Manifold.

The rod from that goes to the ball mount on your throttle body
