Emissions help

Any suggestions? i ve got a 91 Toyota pickup (3vze) I ve put a rebuilt engine in it and i haven't been able to get the emissions down on it. They are like super high. HC are around 3200 at idle if i remember right co's are about 10.00 and co2 are around 7- 10 ish. i ve also replaced all six fuel injectors, T.p.s. O2 sensor. all the temp sensors, Coil pack plugs and wires, distributor. Checked the operation of mass air flow (tested ok) Fuel pressure, igniton timing, i ve blocked off the evap system, and checked the cold start injector operation. I ve smoked it for any leaks in the intake system( did find some in the upper plenum which i just regasketed it and that took care of those. I ve done a compression test on it also which came to an even 150 across. Also i ve done pinpoint tests right at the computer (most of which were resistance tests) didnt find anything there. The cat was cut off so it didn't get ruined while its running so rich. I m kind of leaning towards the computer being shorted into a full rich mode. Really the truck seems to run good, maybe a little sluggish when u step on it but not too bad. Anyone have suggestions?

How's your fuel milegage? If th computer is running open loop you should have crap for efficientcy. I know my truck has had emissions troubles in the past. 2 junk o2 sensors with a CEL on will do that .

But a big bottle (okay 1 size fits all bottle) of G2P, Garuanteed To Pass, works like a champ every two years when I go for VEIP.

Well I ve changed the o2 sensor and its federal emissions so it doesn't have a rear one to monitor the cat gas mileage is around 14. Cel I m guessing ur talking about The mil lamp, its off and bulb check passes

Its only got 5000 on the motor so there shouldn t be too much carbon build up. Its running super rich is the problem. Ha my emissions isn't due for a while but I want to take care of the problem. Also I failed to mention that at higher elevations like in the mountins it has a lack of power but aroundtown its great

Okay if your hydrocarbons are that far out of whack and it's not burning through gas like an Escalade convention, I'd say either your EGR is totally jacked or your CAT is. Either way you could start with some rubbing alcohol, or seafoam, or water injection (personally not a fan), or Carb and Choke cleaner, or G2P. It could still be a mechanical failure if the EGR is stuck open, but I think you just need some cleaning.

I ve taken the cat off as to not destroy it with the rich mixture I ve also taken the egr valve off and blocked the hole into the manifold and it still runs super high, I ve done that to both egr valves
