Emergency/Parking Brake question
Hi
I am trying to get my vehicle ready for NYS inspection and here is my dilemma. I put all new hardware in the drum brakes. New shoes, drums, wheel cylinders, bell cranks, the works. Now when I pull on the handle in the cab everything works all the way to the back except that the fulcrum point only pulls the drivers side cable. The passenger cable doesn't move. Everything from the drum out is working. If I tug on the cable everything in the drum works. Is there an adjustment at the fulcrum point over the rear differential? Could something have moved when I pulled on the cable while the bellcranks were frozen. The pin in the middle of the fulcrum point is free in that it rotates in the clip. I think that where the fulcrum bolts to the bracket may be in the wrong position, but I am not sure. As always thanks in advance for your time and talent.
