EGR valve part numbers / differences...

Hey, Everyone.. I'm new to the forum.

I have an '87 Pickup One Ton (22R-E) and, due to symptoms of a possibly carboned-up EGR valve, I took off the valve to clean it. I thought I might clean it better by removing the EGR pipe from the valve and (you probably know where this is going) promptly snapped the pipe off at the threaded area due to an insurmountable amount of corrosion and me apparently not knowing my own strength..

The factory part number for my EGR valve is 25620-35130. I got a really good deal on a new EGR valve off of Ebay, part number 25620-35100. I researched this and it appears that 35130 was supplied on automatics (like mine) and 35100 was used for manual trans. trucks. The photos I've seen of the 35100 look in every way identical to my 35130 valve. I'm assuming if there's any difference at all then maybe it has to do with a minor difference in the spring or diaphragm, etc.. (?) or maybe there's no difference other than the label they affixed at the factory. Anyway, I'm planning on installing it and not having any problems (fingers crossed) but can't help but wonder...

By the way, I've also noticed some parts suppliers list an EGR with part number 25620-35090 and claim that it would fit my truck regardless of its transmission, etc. It, too, looks identical to the others.

Any EGR system gurus out there? Thanks!
