egr hose blockage

i was just searching around and was curious as to if anyone has done this and if they have gained any noticeable power gains thanks

You can try & see; just disconnect & plug the vacuum hose that goes to it. That will disable it.

You'll get a check engine light unless you put a 10,000 ohm resistor across the terminals of the pigtail that plugs into the EGR (Radio Shack)
