You still need to check a few things, but hey, $34 right? did you check all your fuses?

A good point about blown parts. I've installed 2 SR5 clusters. One I burned up, parts store sending unit. 2nd was burnt up when I got it used, don't remember if off ebay or classifies.

I have bought stuff off of e-bay that was advertised as "refurbished" and it showed up with old batteries still in it and corroded to the point that it would never work again. Buyer beware!
