Ecu
I got a 93 4x4 pu with a 3.0 v6....It came stock as an automatic but now has a 5spd tranny...It still has the same ecu for the auto trans...My question is, does this affect engine performance in any way ? Do i really need to switch out the ECU to a MT one ?

Is your Check engine light on?/
If this is not a problem maybe the ECU You have has been repinned to work with what you have .
It is a 3.0 what engine performance ??
