Ebay Hurst Shifter

Just wondering if there is anyone on here who has bought this shifter? How did you like it and was it worth the money? http://bit.ly/16KYEvc

I already know a bunch of you are just going to say build your own its cheaper and what not, I already know that. I just like this style and want to hear from users that have actually used this product! Thanks

Cool, never seen that before. Description says it's custom, using hurst parts.

I'd go with this one:

I like the look of the Hurst shifter too. Pretty cool!

Here's a few more options: http://www.lceperformance.com/Short-...its-s/1582.htm

I like the 89-95 model at the bottom. You can still use your factory stick and just put the extensions on it. It looks like the kit raises the shifter about an inch or so, but you can always cut a section out of your stick and reweld it to keep it at the stock height, but make the throw even shorter! Then you can have a Super-Short Shift Kit!!!! I'll call it the 3SK!

That's exactly what marlin crawler does (cuts the shifter shorter to make up the difference from the higher base). However, marlin modifies a stock shifter and includes a new base, where LCE provide an all new shifter and a spacer and re-uses the existing base. The LCE shifter does not have the rubberized handle like the OEM did so it has a tendency to buzz and be annoying.

Thanks for the input guys! Well I went ahead and ordered it. I called the company and they said that according to their return policy if I don't like it all I have to do is send it back and they'll issue me a full refund. So I figured with all these shifters being around the same price I might as well be the guinea pig. Plus the looks of the hurst are just sick and if I'm spending $200 on something I might as well get some cool looks out of it haha

settle down spanky. I saw the martin shifter on the weekend, it is slick, I'm going to see how Jesse likes the hurst before I pull the trigger.

I like that hurst. Sucks that they don't appear to have one for a 22re.

Ok so spent a few hours today getting the new transmission put in. The whole time I was bummed cause my shifter still hadn't shown up. And what happens I finally get home and its sitting at my front door! I'm always really bad at remembering to take pics while I'm working but I did grab one of the finished product. Don't laugh at my hack job of a center console.

Oh yeah, I have a 2" body lift so that did kind of affect it. I love the way this thing shifts and I definitely feel like I got my money's worth.
