Easy Electrical - Fuse Keeps going
This is probably simple but I haven't figured it out yet. One of my Blue 15amp fuses in the box in the cab keeps blowing. It is the one for the cigarette lighter and the clock.
I changed the battery to one with "more cranking amps", wal-mart style, cost 10 bucks more. A couple days after hooking it up my XM radio and clock went out. I changed the fuse. Then a little while later (hours?) it happened again. Now when I do it it blows on ignition. Terminals are clean, reconnected wire (ground?) to terminal.
Anyone know whats going on? My roomate is an electrician and he was not helpful....but that could just be because he's an electrician...

check around all the wires you worked on for soemthing grounding out. most likly a wire got striped a lil bit and is hitting metal. also did u hardwire the XM radio? check for bad wires under the cd player area too
