It wouldn't let me post in the tech section, but heres the problem. Im looking at putting an e locker in my 91 v6 p/u. My truck has ABS, and the sensor is mounted right in top of the housing, above the ring gear. Can I keep my ABS after the tacoma diff swap? Or does it pretty much just delete it? I need to figure this out!!

 

im curious for the answer aswell. i swapped an elocker into my 92 4runner, popped the sensor out and just tied it up. since then the light on the dash has been lit. i would think when tht light is lit that the system is inactive. thought about wiring the elocker switch to that dash light and blacking out the "anti" on the "rear anti lock" light. i heard the rear anti lock system is pretty much worthless anyway. i also eliminated the prop. lspv in the back which probly deactivated the anti lock feature anway.

 

I was thinking about trying to machine a spot for it in the e locker housing. It would take a while, and have to be precise, but I think it could work.

 

ABS will be a no go. Just do what vitaly22re did and wire the elocker indicator light thru the dash rear lock abs light. Easy peezy.
