E-brake cable sagging

Hey everyone

I did a search and couldn't find much about people having the left side of their e-brake cable sagging so I am making a new thread sorry if there is already one out there.

I have a 1992 Toyota 4wd ext cab pick-up and my e-brake does not engage when I pull it. The left side moves and the right side is still tight but does not move from what I am assuming is to much slack on the left side. I am not sure if the cable is stretched to much and will need replacing, so I am just looking for some ideas. I am going to take the rear wheels off this weekend and adjust the drums and see if the bells on the right side are seized or not.

Any ideas about the sagging e-brake is much appreciated thank you.

So there wasn't much I could do, I ended up changing the e-brake cable and while doing that found that my bell cranks were also seized and changed those as well. Not a hard job at all just time consuming to remove the e-brake.
