Driver side, inner door panel removal question

90 4runner. Driver side armrest upper cover cracked and I wanna relpace or repair it. I popped the 2 screw covers off the side of the arm rest and nothing.
Not coming off. So,trying to get the entire panel off. popped all the clipps free and unscred the plastic screws. Only thing holding it on now is the inner door release handle mechanism.
Why will the arm rest not come off? Is it scred in from behind the panel?
This arm rest has all the window, door lock and electric mirror controls.
Any help here?
Thanx
Dutch

To get the door panel off....you have to pull it around the door handle, and slide it forward....Its easier to do then explain..lol

Team420.. (yup, diggin' yer name brutha froma nutha mutha...lol)
Anyway. Thanx for the diagram. Helped out perfectly.
Not usre if my door panel/arm rest was purposly put together wrong,or just plain ignorance from someone along the line of ownership.
But,like I said earlier. I got the two outside screws out and nothing. Low and behold. It WAS scred in from behind as well.
This I don't get,but. Problem is solved.
Slipping it through the door release handle is nerve racking. I was so worried I'd bust the panel in half or crack the **** out of it. :>)
