drill and taping for stock turbo non stock block
im having problems finding the size of the threads for a stock banjo fitting. i measured the fitting im getting 11.34 mm or .446in which is odd its closer to a 7/16 20 than a 11 1.25 what size is it so i can drill and tap it?

Don't do it.
My assumption is if you can not accurately measure it you do not have the proper equipment required to bore all the way across to the other side.
If you put the wrong size by a little it is possible/probable someone puts the right Union bolt and blows out the threads or cracks the block. Yeah I've been there.
It is also quite possible and probable the block you are sampling does not use the correct thread Toyota originally put there. Been there too..
Iirc it is 12m 1.25 or the equivalent British thread. But your best option is to take the money you would spend on the drill bit, the boring bit, and tap, buy a plate type remote oil filter kit to run the line around from the other side. Take the rest and go out to a steakhouse..

What is it exactly that you are attempting to do?
Its not clear from your post.
Some fittings on the Toyota block are BSP
In particular, the oil pressure fitting (there are TWO that I am aware of on the 22RE - one under the oil filter and one under the motor mount bracket (that is used when the 22RE is in a Celica)
