has anyone ever put one on a yota before? from the pics it looks about the same body line but i'm not sure, not real clear pics... i need a new bed BAD!!! i just like the look of the toyota beds but finding one for a decent price with little or no rust is next to impossible up here

 

How about a flat bed kit?

 

I saw a mazda truck with a toyota tailgate on it this summer, and it fit it perfectly. The lines matched up too.

 

which body style d50 <80 or 80>?

 

Looks like the >80 would fit better, IMO. did i do that right? greater then 80.

 

Any box will fit. I have seen a Jeep Commanche box on a early 80's yota pick-up. I've seen an Isuzu PUP 70's box on a dodge Ram 50. you name it, it has been done in Belize.

 

i dont want a flat bed kit, i dont think they look right, and i just dont have the money... i think its from a >80 d50... its only $250, no rust, and its local... not a bad deal i think

 

The question you want to ask yourself then is, will the body lines match or will the box stand out like a Jeep CJ amongst Toyota FJ40's.

 

or like a dwarf among midgets.
