I am running stock gears with 33's and the 3.0, no power issues at all. I will still shift it into 5th gear at around 45-50. unless I am accelerating or passing, then its back to 4th until I hit about 60-70.

 

I have 31x10.50 Bridgestone Duler At Revos.I could tell as soon as I put them on how much more sluggish it was.I am an aggressive driver. I hate driving behind slow drivers,brake checkers exct,so I am regearing to 4.88s soon before I bump to 33's.On long hills steep hills(offroad) the engine bogs with the 31's. I like to hammer it so, my preference is to regear.It will hurt you in the long run if you don't regear,more strain on your drivetrain,u-joints,clutch during initial accelaration.

I have 22RE with 4:10's and 33x12.50's. It isnt a racer but never was. It is ok around town and on relatively flat highways. Hills on the highway kill it pretty fast. Other than that it is ok.
