basically i wanna know what my 4runner is (22-r, 2nd gen, What?)

I have a V6, 2wd, 94 4runner, 3.0
I think it is a 3VZ-E (but no one talks about these)
does 3VZ-E mean something else

also how do i know what gen i have

 

You have a 2nd gen 4runner
The 3.0 V6 3VZE

the 22re is the 4 cylinder

 

There were two engines offered. The 22RE (fuel injection version of the 22R). Its a 116bhp 4 cylinder. Toyota also offered a V6 engine, the 3ZV-E, to compete with Nissan's 3.0L V6 in the Pathfinder. It has about 150bhp.
