DIY mudflaps?

The rear wheel flaps on my '89 runner are shot. With the only available aftermarket replacements around here being big rig mud flaps, ive been thinking of making my own. Anyone here do this to their rigs?

Yes. Depending on the state you live mud flaps are required and are specific to the dimensions they have to be. However mud flaps tend to get ripped off. I made some and they are attached via the factory holes using some clevis pins.

Easy peezy.

Check out Lowrange, they have an affordable kit, either with or without bodylift.
Attaches to frame, quick disconnect.
Roll your own rubber. Yes cops look out for mudflaps as an excuse
to pull you over. Do it.
