Digital Dash Clock Wiring

I just bought a digital clock for my 93 3.0 and I was wondering if the easy thing to do is to wire the clock into the stereo wiring or is there a better way. If anyone has any experience with this I would love to hear it. Thanks.

If it is the factory clock it is a plug-and-play affair. Somewhere behind the dash (behind the factory clock hole if you're lucky) is the plug you need. If it isn't the factory clock, you can still use the factory plug with a little bit of cutting and crimping as needed. Of course, some aftermarket stereo installs have been known to make use of these available power connections for the stereo.

the factory clock plug is actually attached to the plate that covers the hole if you dont have the clock. just pop the plate out, and plug it in

Something new with the later trucks. On my '84 I had to fish around back there to find it.

Now that I think about I remember seeing the plug when I was installing the aftermarket stereo. Thanks for all the advice.
