Difficulty on replacing Fuel injectors

Im thinking about biting the bullet and getting new injectors in my 92 toyota pickup v6. Is it hard to do? Could i do it in my shop class in two hours?

I don't think it's "hard" to do, but I'm pretty sure I couldn't do it in 2 hours. And I've done it at least once before. Like any auto maintenance item, the problem is that you will find lots of stuff you just didn't expect. (Like the electrical connectors on the injectors; the plastic doesn't tolerate heat and age very well, and you may need to replace them, or at least jury-rig a way to keep them on the injectors.)

You may be better off trading something for garage space you could hold for a few days if you had to. Then, if you have to run down to the dealer to order the aluminum crush washers (yes, you do), you'll have the time.

What lead you to conclude that replacing the injectors was the way to go?
