Are there any differences? I need a 3vze for my 4runner and just found a 3vze out of a t100. I'm assuming they are the same but can anyone confirm?

 

oh the t100 motor is a short block and i plan to just transfer my top end to the short block. so basically are the blocks different? and will i run into any problems

 

Well, the air cleaner is different, and the power steering pump on t100 doesn't have the idle-up valve. This doesn't help you, so all I can tell you is that there ARE slight differences in the accessories. I have no idea about the block/head, but I wouldn't be shocked to find some tiny difference. Whether you can work around it is the $64 question.
