Diff swop

I have a 1988 Hilux mk2 LN65 solid front axle truck. I would like to know Is it possible to run the rear differential in the front axle? I know the ring gear would be driving on the back side of the teeth so maybe would have a shorter lifespan.I know on some Land rovers the front and rear Differential are identical so can be installed in front or rear axles. But didn't know if this was the case with my Toyota pickup.

Yes, you can run a rear 3rd in the front.
