Die Hard Platinum retrofit into a 2nd Gen Runner
My Optima crapped out on me about a month ago. After quite a bit of research I decided to go with a Die Hard Platinum. When they pulled up my rig on the computer the battery it came up with did not have side posts. Because I was already wired for them and I'm running a winch off the top posts I wanted that set up again. I took my plastic battery tray down to Sears and started poking around for one that would fit. I discovered that a P4 was just slightly shorter and barely longer than a stock battery. The die hards have a tray that raises them up like the Optimas do. I shaved one edge off the stock plastic tray and it all laid right in there. I know have a 4 year warranty and 880 cold cranking amps!!
I drove the Runner to work today. It's the first time she's been driven in a month. I always forget how fun it is to mob it around and watch people scurry to get out of my way.

I used one of the EverStart MAXX batteries from WalMart; I've had several over the years & they're the best I've ever used and have an EIGHT YEAR warranty! Mine is 1000 cc amps & I'm running one of the Boyle Future Technology re-wound alternators as well. That 1600 watt stereo doesn't dim the lights now....I found this review on another forum:

Battery Review, Walmart Everstart Maxx 65N; 850 CCA, 1000 CA (manufactured by Johnson Controls)
yo gang, I purchased this battery last week at WAL MART® (battery is not listed in their web site)
It is mfg. by Johnson Controls & produces this EXACT SAME battery (CCA, etc.) for many auto makers and retailers under different product names such as:
Motorcraft® silver BXT-65-850; ~$100.00 to $120.00 Plus $104.95 + tax, etc. at your local friendly Ford dealer
Sears Die Hard Gold 33065 $105. +
Auto Zone (Duralast Gold)
Eveready
Everstart
Interstate Mega-Tron Plus $104.95 + tax, etc.
Toyota (TrueStart)
Mitsubishi (Diamond Car Care)
Mazda
Advance Auto (Autocraft Titanium)
Costco (Kirkland Signature)
Pep Boys (ProStart & Energizer)
btw, Johnson also mfg. Optima brand
WAL MART - excellent price $61.00 w/ 7% sales tax and free installation. The warranty is 3yr free and 108 month pro-rata
CCA: 875 amps @ 0 degree F/ CA = 1090 amps @ 32° F; Reserve capacity: 165 mins
compare CCA etc to Optima YellowTop
CCA = 500 amps @ 0 degree F/ CA = 625 amps at 32° F; Reserve capacity: 70 minutes
