Hi folks... sooo.. I came across this... how does our info here end up on there? I don't mind, but I was surprised.. Did you know about it?

Interesting.....

I bet the website scans through all of the listed websites to be a "one stop shop" for 4x4 forums so you don't need to visit each forum individually.
Could be handy if you frequent many forums.

It's some sort of web scraping/harvestig site. It's like those webs that sell cars, they harvest (steal?) info from different sources and create an index web.

4x4builds.net "About" section

Here is their "About" page:

We follow 4x4 build threads (discussions about building 4x4 vehicles) from dozens of 4x4 forums. When someone posts a photo update to their build thread, we link to it.

All builds are fully credited to the original builder and the site on which the build is posted, and identified by the original builder's avatar. We link directly to the builder's new post, and we feature up to three sample thumbnail images (like Google Images), with each one fully credited to the original builder.

To view all of the build thread updates for a specific 4x4 model, click on the "Models" tab above, and select your desired 4x4 model.
It appears that the website is just a "preview" of build threads with a few pictures, all linking back to whatever site the preview is sourced from.
