deep oil leak

95 toyota 4runner has an oil leak high up and deep underneath the rubber flap behind the driverside wheel well where a aluminum housing meets a darker colored housing behind where the exhaust pipe that leaves the block. It leakes a drip every 30 to 60 seconds with the engine running and can only be seen shining a flashlight up from underneath this rubber flap, it drips and runs onto the center section of the torque part of the transmission. I'm wondring if someone can reveal where this leak is coming from and what is entailed in getting it fixed. thanks for any tips and suggestions

pics would be great

could be your valve cover seals/gaskets, will be changing mine shortly, leaking real bad on the drivers side.

Possibly the cam plug seal at the back of the cylinder head?

Hmm. Sounds like the same place where I think mine is leaking. Maybe around the oil cooler on the side of the block. When the weather warms up, I'll be checking mine out further.
