I just started on it this morning. It's not finished yet since I still need to go junk yard hopping for the window switch and the work light port, but u get the idea. I'm going to add a 12v outlet also. But let me know what you think so far!

Now that is very cool. Are the 'guards' between your switches just small d-ring bolts?

Yeah that's it..I picked up 5 for $1.59, the aluminum sheet for like $3 and a few switches...Autozone switches are about $4 for 1 20amp..but if you check out walmart they have the same ones for $1. With a little creativity and "Idea Stealing" you can do a lot!

Corax/RMA/Bass...... I really wish you guys would stop posting up new goodies, I'm NEVER going to get done with this thing if I try to keep up with ya'll.

RMA~ I noticed game ports on that set up, you do a lot of "gaming" in the back of the rig?

Side note I did see the LED strips that Corax used at Pepboys this weekend and was going to buy them and see if I could do the install. The girlfriend looked at me like I was crazy for wanting to add more things to the rig but I think she'll appreciate the extra light when we go camping.

Thanks Jesse. Looks good and now I will have to rip mine apart and do it all over again.

I saw those too..I was thinking of getting the neon strip..you know the wanna be ricer light (their bright as hell!)..and mounting it on the rollbar.

Don't waste your money on the Autozone strips. I think their price is $15 for (2) 8" bits. You can get 15 feet for under $30 here. You'll want the single color type with a simple 2 wire hook up. Just make sure you have a good soldering iron first . . . use steps 1->3 of this procedure (links to a .pdf) to solder the wire onto the individual sections

Thanks Corax! 15ft huh? Heck I'll run two 6' strips along the top and have enough light for a dirty disco (kidding) in there and one on a separate switch on the roll bar if I can attach it to the factory leather cover. LED's don't get hot do they?

Now to buy a soldering iron. Thanks again!

The LEDs run cool, I've never felt them get hot at least.

If I can make a suggestion, butane soldering irons rock. My favorite so far has been the one from Weller, $30-$40 is a good price and you never need to mess with an extension cord
