dead v6 cylinders
Ok people, my brother and I ran a compression test on my 1989 V6 because of crappy gas mileage and lack of "ooompf!". Here are the readings on the cylinders.
FIREWALL
175 --- 75
25 --- 175
175 --- 160
FRONT OF TRUCK HERE!!!
The compression problem is also manifested in a repetetive tick from the passenger side wheel well (where the 25psi cylinder is). That particular cylinder also has a blackened spark plug (and I just replaced the spark plugs on the 20th!)
So what say you, fellow Yotatech members? What couldeth be the problem?

just crossed 149k
we did a "wet" test on the 2 cylinders and they were not indicative of worn pistons... or something. So I am guessing headgaskets, which Toyota has already replaced once (I am the third owner, so I will ask the previous owner when it was done)
