I just wanted to mention, that right side vent, to get those clips without marring the dash pad, i like to use expired plastic gift cards. They're handy, just the right balance of stiff but flexible, to slip one in for each clip. I bring out the bottom then the top.
Those vents can be brittle!

Thanks, I may have found an easier way to remove the passenger side vent from the front instead of reaching behind and under the dash, if you look closely inside the vent the clips are visible it's possible they could be popped out of the grill housing using a flat bladed screw driver, I haven't tried this but it's worth a shot if I have to remove the dash again.
