Damged Ring... Options

I guess i worked longer than i should last night. I was putting the pistons in my 22re and buggers up an oiler ring. Just looking at what my options are. The ring is not broke, but bent a but. I checked around local and couldnt find anone with rings in stock. I have to ask the obvious, could it work if i bend it back into shape? But I doubt thaqt is a good thing. So anyone have any left over Enginebuilder .20 over oiler rings? I guess i can go drink the entirne weekend, feeling pretty bummed .

Just have Engnbldr overnight you a new box of 22re rings. I don't think they cost that much.

This reminds me of the time I was doing valve stem seals on a Tercel. I had just as many seals as needed and I screwed one of them up and had to take like a 4 hour break to track a new one down, drive across town, and pick it up so I could finish the stupid project!

Yeah it looks like that is what is going to happen. I could bent the ring to make it flat but it is still out of round. No need to score the cylinder walls. Oh Well. Looks like i will be ordering them on monday. Oh well.
