custom 4runner "flares" UPDATE!!!

Hey All,

Well I haven't been on for months, after numerous computer failures, and with the start of college, I was forced to get a new one, once again reuniting me with all of you!! Last I left off, I had bought the 88 v6 that had been sitting in a farmer's field for 3 years. after working all the bugs out, it was time for body work, with endless searches for rear quarter panels and no results, i got ahold of my parts guy and got a set of 4 bushwackers for $100, and went from there. I just started the project saturday with my dad, but was so anxious to share it i figured i'd post through the whole thing as we progress, let me know what you think. Oh yeah.. ( i'll be vacuuming sand for weeks...) some may be wondering, why in the world did he take the top off!?!?, but removing the inner panels made for easy access to problem areas. Hope you enjoy, Josh

Update

Okay, so here's the "finished" result. still lots and lots of sanding, ran short of funds and energy. also still debating whether to do the same thing to the front or not opinions?!?!?!

Sorry I couldn't resist

Ill chime in

Nice cruiser.
And pickup as well.
Hell those fenders look pretty throwed also, i think you should do the same to the front, just doesnt look natural to me.
Nice runner as well

Looks really good. I would definitely do the front as well. I know your probably burnt out from doing the rear but it will be worth it to do the front as well. Keep up the good work.
