I just bought one of the flat bottomed ones and screwed it to the floor right behind the shifter. The one in the dash is a joke.

Well,not all of us have space on the tranny tunnel behind the shifter. Those of us w/automatics,have the full center console.

I think I'm just gonna avoid BK (and I'll pry email their head quarters to tell them why...large drinks...are too damn large,who drinks that much in one meal anyway?)
Besides all that...I think I'll just continue having my gf hold my....drinks

What i did was took the orig. hooks out and replaced them with hard wire. it feels much more sturdy. it holds to bud bottles perfectly

Thankfully you live nowhere near me...and I truley hope that you are not driving (on or off road) while

Nope. It gets warm too quickly.

I think it's funny the OP doesn't have a cupholder. Lol, it probably costs Toyota more to put the blank plug in there than it does to put their wonderfully strong factory cupholders.

mine holds 2 sonic route 44 drinks just fine
