cup holder mod/ 4runner

While looking on eBay I found this
looks pretty simple and if you put some rubber in the bottom you wouldn't see the screws.

Anyone else have a cupholder mod in their 4runner

Couple of inserts and a power washer and he would be set.

That might work with an auto, not sure if it would with a manual.

Looks like a couple trucks that need to be thoroughly cleaned.

wont work on a 5spd but heres what I did. Cupholder is out of a 4th generation VW Jetta or Golf. And yea, do any of you clean your trucks?

I knew that cup holder(VW) looked familiar. I was thinking about somthing like that in my 86, but as you mentioned, having a stick would prob hit it. I might just bolt one in the notched area in my seat. Anyone Put it there?

Interesting idea but if you have dual cases you won't have that area to use.

The second one with the VW mod looks great nearlu stock.............but if you have a CB there then that spot is taken too.

Any other ideas, I need some, I can't stand not having a cup holder anymore. Amazing what we take for granted and can't live without anymore LOL.
