Cracked lower control arm, help!

Was looking at my front suspension today, making sure everything was okay after the weekend romp in the woods, when I saw this.

What do you guys think?
Think I could just get a buddy to weld it up since its just the steering stop? Or should I go get a used one and put it on?

Is the control arm itself cracked or did you just crack the weld that holds on the steering stop? If you just cracked the steering stop, personally, I'd have someone grind the old welds and re-weld the steering stop. If the control arm is cracked I'd replace it, but that's just me.

I'd just weld it up, but keep an eye on it afterwards.
