Computer codes
Hello.. I checked for codes the other day and got a code 32... When I looked it up on one source it says air flow sensor.... Another source says EGR system... So which is it?? As a bonus question... How does one remove the EGR system.. Is there anything special that needs to be done?

One source? Another source? Should we just guess?
Personally, I'd look in the manual http://personal.utulsa.edu/~nathan-b...85diagnosi.pdf
Why would you want to remove the EGR system?

Umm one source was the manual... It says air flow sensor... My other source was a toyota dealer mechanic.. As for removing the EGR well I was thinking that was the issue.. But after a little test it is in fact not the issue

Oh one more thing... I've read the manual that you link to... I reference very often.. So please don't think I've not done a little research before asking my questions.. I ask because I am wanting other peoples thoughts and ideas... It's called networking with other people...I'm in the fire service it's important to network with other fire fighters... See what works and what doesn't... That's what I am trying to do here..

Yeah, there are some service procedures that can be expanded with experience (I'm thinking of replacing the 1/2 shafts), but when it comes to what the diagnostic codes mean, there just isn't a lot of room for "opinions."
Just one man's view.
