Colorado people help!..... your emissions is a bit hardcore
I'm moving to golden next year to finally live in a mountain bike town.... I'm very excited.... then I checked the smog laws..I live in Atlanta and have zero smog stuff on my 4runner
my dilemma is this..I can replace all the smog stuff no problem, but when they do a visual inspection will they fail me if I dont have every single hose and check valve hooked back up? I was told by a friend in golden that new residents get the reeming on their first smog test.
I'm not hooking up anything I dont have to.egr system, pvc, canister, and my exhaust will be dealt with...but is thst all ill need? thanks for the help

I'm not sure about the visual inspection stuff, but living in Gilpin County (a short drive from Golden in the Blackhawk area), I can tell you that your best bet is making a friend in this county and registering your 4runner here. There's a small handful of counties in Colorado that don't require any smog testing or equipment.
Best of luck

that was my first idea as I have friends up in the hills... but it never got past an idea before it got shot down..it says on the Colorado emissions website that my vehicle has to be registered to the same address I live at..kinda sucks

Starting this Sunday I'll be going to my buddies shop to do a timing chain kit and a few other things to my 4runner. He's pretty knowledgeable and I'll ask him for any advice on your question.
