Coil to Leaf spring conversion on '91 4Runner??

heres my situation. I had bought an '89 4runner while I was in Iraq, I came back, drove it some, and decided I didnt want that body style. So I sold it and now own a 91 4Runner.... AFTER i had already purchaced the All Pro SAS and rear lift (4in FR/ 6in RR)... as you all know, the 4runner in 89 had leaf springs... the 91 has coils.... I have only found ONE link about someone doing this conversion. Has anyone else? I want to go thru with this conversion becuase it is not out there. i plan on attempting to do a write up so other people can research it. But just wondering what everything thinks.. am I wasting my time?

thanks.... cody

There are quite a few people who have done the leaf conversion on the 2nd gen runners.

If you plan on swapping, a rear leaf conversion is really tits. Makes the whole truck ride better, and you are more balanced front to rear.

Look in the Solid Axle Swap Section. There are many, many people who've done this. Better would be to go to marlincrawler.com, and look on their forum.
